Each year I organise a concert at St John’s College Cambridge to raise money for the College’s McKean Fund to support the studies of organ scholars at the College. This is a living tribute to my uncle who was a longtime fellow of the college
This year’s concert is on Saturday, 31 March at 8.00pm and is entitled ‘Magnificat’, feauring the Magnificats of two modern composers, John Rutter and Arvo Part and the Herbert Howells’ Requiem. The works will be performed by my choir, The English Arts Chorale.
Tickets costing £14 for adults £8 for children are available from http://www.englisharts.org or by emailing tickets@englisharts.org, or on the door. Please support this worthy cause. It should be a wonderful event and a rare opportunity to attend a concert in St John’s Chapel.
