BUCKDEN PAROCHIAL CHARITIES

Chairman of Trustees: Mrs Betty Mackintosh

ARE YOU OVER 60

AND LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE TO LIVE

We are looking for independent single persons who would like to live in one of our apartments, at a cost significantly below council rents, which includes heating, and hot water. The premises, which have been completely refurbished, comprise a bedsitting room, bathroom with walk-in shower and kitchen and there is a small garden for the use of residents. A Lifeline is installed and a concessionary TV licence operates. A part-time resident warden is employed. The resident is responsible for Council Tax and for the rental and calls on a telephone line. Residents MUST be able to live independently and to look after themselves and the property. Preference will be given to those having connections with Buckden and financial, health and social needs will be taken into consideration.

There is no need to reapply if you have previously submitted an application, as all previous and new applications will be considered by the Trustees according to need.

Application forms may be obtained from the Clerk to the Trustees, Mrs L. Toogood, 7 Vineyard Way, Buckden, St Neots, PE19 5SR.
