As well as the obvious scenic attractions for walkers, ramblers and climbers, the area around Keswick offers a rich variety of year-round activities for all to enjoy. Derwentwater itself plays host to a range of watersports along its three-mile stretch. Here you can hire a boat, a dinghy or surfboard and cruise around one of the four islands on the lake or simply board one of the motor launches for a leisurely trip from jetty to jetty.
