Buckden Pre-school was founded in 1969 and we are a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance. We are also a registered charity. The Pre-School has strong links with Buckden School, and many of our children go there when they leave us at 4 years old.

We can be found in a purpose-built unit within the Millennium Centre, and there is ample parking in the Centre car park. The pre-school premises includes a large playroom, a smaller room for group activities and IT use, and an enclosed outdoor play area under shade. We also have regular use of the large adjoining village hall, and are situated next to the village playing field and playground. 'The Valley' is just across the field - a large pond on the edge of the village that is home to ducks and swans. The woodland path around this area provides the children with an ideal venue for their nature walks as the seasons change.

The Pre-School is open:

- Monday to Friday 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. then 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. for lunch (rising 4's only)

- Tuesdays and Thursdays 1.15 p.m. - 2.45 p.m. (rising 3's)
