Primary SchoolsBuckden CE Primary School Buckden Church of England Primary School is a co-educational primary school for children from age 5 to 11 years.
The 2006 OFSTED report stated, "This is a satisfactory and improving school with several good features."
Secondary SchoolsHinchingbrooke School Hinchingbrooke School is a fully comprehensive co-educational Local Authority School with approximately 1850 pupils aged 11-18 and 96 teaching staff. Hinchingbrooke School was founded, as Huntingdon Grammar School, in 1565. Among its pupils in its early history were Oliver Cromwell and Samuel Pepys. At the beginning of the 20th century the school began admitting girls as well as boys and by the 1960's was admitting about 90 pupils per year. A school bus service operates between the village and Hinchingbrooke School.
St Peter's School A co-educational comprehensive school with approximately 1400 pupils aged 11 to 18 years.
Independent SchoolsKimbolton School Kimbolton School is an independent co-educational school for pupils from age 4 to 18 years with boarding facilities for the Senior School.
